UI UX design services for products in Uzbekistan

UI UX design covers two connected jobs: UX decides how a product is structured and what a person does next, UI decides how every screen looks and responds. The keyword «ui ux design» gets roughly 140 searches a month in Uzbekistan with moderate competition at 23 out of 100. This page explains the discipline, the tools, the platform rules, and how to choose an agency in Tashkent.

UI and UX are two different jobs

UX is structure and logic: what screens exist, in what order, what happens when a payment fails or the network drops. It is mostly research, flows and testing rather than visuals.

UI is the surface: type scale, spacing, colour, states of every button, icons, motion. Good UI makes the structure obvious; it cannot rescue a structure that is wrong.

In practice one team usually does both, but the questions stay separate. If an agency talks only about beautiful screens and never about user flows, you are buying half the work.

A useful check before hiring anyone: ask how they would handle an empty state, a failed payment and a slow connection. Those three answers reveal more about UX skill than a portfolio of polished home screens.

Designing for how Uzbekistan actually uses products

Traffic here is overwhelmingly mobile, so the phone layout is the primary design, not an adaptation of a desktop screen made afterwards.

Most audiences are bilingual. Russian and Uzbek Latin strings differ in length, and interfaces that were laid out for one language break in the other — buttons wrap, tabs overflow, headings clip. We test both from the first screens.

Sign-up and support usually run through Telegram, and traffic often arrives from Instagram. That shapes onboarding: people come from a story, on a slow connection, with little patience for a five-step registration form.

Connection quality varies outside the capital, so interfaces need to stay usable on weak networks: light assets, visible loading states, and forms that do not lose entered data when a request fails.

Tools: Figma, Adobe XD and the rest of the stack

Figma is the working standard for UI UX design today. It runs in the browser, several people edit the same file, and developers read specs directly from it — which matters when the client, designer and developer sit in different offices.

Adobe XD still appears in existing projects, and Adobe UI UX design workflows connect neatly with Illustrator and Photoshop assets. If your files already live there, we work with them instead of forcing a migration.

There is no single best app for UI UX design. The tool matters far less than the design system behind it: shared components, tokens for colour and spacing, and named states that developers can implement without guessing.

Whatever the tool, the deliverable should include documented components and states rather than a folder of flat screens. That is what keeps a product consistent as new features are added later.

Platform guidelines: iOS and Android are not the same product

Apple UI UX design follows the Human Interface Guidelines: navigation lives at the bottom, the back gesture comes from the edge, system type scales with accessibility settings.

Android UI UX design follows Material guidelines, with different navigation patterns, elevation rules and a hardware back button that must behave predictably.

Copying one platform onto the other saves time and costs trust — the app feels foreign. We keep a shared visual identity and adapt the platform-specific parts of navigation and controls.

Web products face a similar split. A responsive layout is not one design stretched to fit — touch targets, navigation depth and form length all change between a phone and a desktop browser.

How a UI UX design project runs

It starts with the business goal and the user: what the product must achieve, who uses it, what they do today instead. Then we map the flows before drawing anything.

Next come wireframes and a clickable prototype. Testing a prototype with a handful of real users is far cheaper than discovering the problem after development.

Then visual design, a component library, and handover: specs, assets, states, and answers to developer questions during the build. Design that stops at a static file usually gets rebuilt badly in code.

We keep the number of review rounds fixed per stage and written into the agreement. It protects both sides from an open-ended cycle of small changes that quietly doubles the timeline.

Choosing a UI UX design agency

Ask any candidate for the best ui ux design case in their portfolio and make them explain the problem, not the aesthetics. Best companies for ui ux designer work can describe what they changed and why.

Check whether they have shipped products, not only concepts. Screens that never met a developer hide most of the hard decisions.

Ask who owns the files afterwards. You should receive editable source files and be able to continue with any team — including your own.

Also ask how they work with developers. A design team that has never sat through a build tends to hand over layouts that are expensive or impossible to implement as drawn. Finally, look for teams that measure something after launch — analytics, session recordings, support requests. Design decisions get better when someone checks whether they worked.

What Jar Agency does

We are a full-cycle digital agency in Tashkent. Design and branding are priced per project, and we hand over source files at the end.

We also build websites, web and mobile applications, integrations and analytics, and we run targeted advertising, SMM, video production and SEO. Interface work therefore accounts for how users will actually arrive — usually from an Instagram ad on a phone.

Our clients include LoadMe, an app for carriers with 7,946 users, MSC in B2B medical equipment, Leader Audit in audit services, and the logistics company Yoldosh.

Files are handed over in an editable form with the component library intact, so your own team or another agency can continue the work without rebuilding the system from screenshots.

Частые вопросы

What is the difference between UI and UX design?+

UX design defines structure and behaviour: the flows, the screen order, what happens in error cases. UI design defines the visible layer: typography, spacing, colour, icons, component states and motion. They are usually done by the same team, but they answer different questions and a strong UI cannot fix a broken flow.

Which tool do you use — Figma or Adobe XD?+

We work mainly in Figma because it is browser-based, supports real-time collaboration and lets developers pull specs directly. We can also continue projects built in Adobe XD or with Adobe assets rather than forcing a migration. The important part is the design system behind the file: components, tokens and documented states.

Do you design separately for iOS and Android?+

The brand and content stay consistent, but navigation and controls follow each platform. Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android's Material guidelines differ in navigation placement, back behaviour and elevation. Ignoring that makes an app feel foreign to its users, which costs trust before anyone judges the visuals.

How much does UI UX design cost?+

Design at Jar Agency is priced per project. The estimate depends on the number of screens, whether one platform or several are covered, how many languages the interface must support, and whether research and prototype testing are included. We give a figure after a short brief, in local currency or in dollars.

Do you also build the product after the design?+

Yes. We develop landing pages, corporate sites, online stores, and web and mobile applications, including integrations and analytics. Having design and development in one team removes the usual gap where a developer reinterprets a layout, and it keeps decisions about states and edge cases from being made twice.
