Marketing company for small business in Tashkent

Jar Agency is a full-cycle digital agency in Tashkent that works with small businesses — shops, clinics, studios, service firms and family companies where the owner is still the main decision maker. We start with one channel, prove it with data, and only then widen the spend. Targeted ads, SMM, video and SEO start from $500; design and websites are quoted per project.

What a small business is really buying

A small business does not buy "marketing". It buys a predictable flow of enquiries into Telegram, Instagram Direct or a phone number, at a cost the owner can pay from this month's turnover.

That framing changes the work. Instead of a brand platform and a twelve-month roadmap, the first job is to make one channel produce measurable enquiries and to record what each one cost.

So we begin by writing down the current numbers with you: how many enquiries arrive now, from where, and what an average order is worth in soum. Without that baseline, no later report means anything.

The owner-operator reality

In most Uzbek small companies the owner answers Direct, approves the creative and signs the invoice. There is no marketing manager to translate between the agency and the business.

We plan around that. Approvals are batched into one weekly call, creatives come in small sets rather than dozens of variants, and reports are written in plain language — spend, enquiries, cost per enquiry, what changes next week.

We also agree who replies to incoming messages and how fast. An ad that works and a Direct nobody reads for six hours produce the same result: nothing.

Small teams also change direction faster than large ones. A new supplier, a seasonal rush or a competitor opening on the same street can shift priorities within a week, and the marketing plan has to follow rather than sit frozen in a quarterly document.

What to buy first, and what to postpone

First comes the thing people see before they decide: a tidy Instagram profile, clear prices or a price range, real photos of the place or the product, and a working way to contact you.

Second comes paid distribution — targeted ads on Instagram and Facebook with a small set of tested creatives. This is where a small budget learns fastest, because feedback arrives in days.

A rebrand, an online store or a long SEO programme can wait. They are worth doing once you know which offer converts and which audience buys it — otherwise you scale a guess.

Phased spend instead of one big launch

We split the budget into phases. The first phase is deliberately small and diagnostic: a handful of offers, two or three audiences, one landing destination, tight tracking.

The second phase drops what lost and puts money behind what worked, adds more creative in the winning direction, and starts building a retargeting audience from people who already engaged.

The third phase adds a second channel — SMM in Telegram, video, or search — only when the first one is stable. Adding channels while the first is still unproven is the most common way small budgets disappear.

Phasing also protects the relationship. If the first month is small and clearly reported, you can judge us on evidence rather than on promises, and we can judge whether the offer and the market fit each other before either side commits to a bigger budget.

Creative lifespan and mobile-first traffic in Uzbekistan

Almost all of this traffic is mobile and vertical. A creative shot for a desktop banner will underperform in Stories and Reels no matter how good the offer behind it is.

Creative also burns out quickly here. The audience in a city the size of Tashkent is finite, and the same video shown for weeks stops earning attention. We plan for regular replacement rather than one perfect film.

Our video production is in-house — script, shoot, edit — which is what makes constant replacement affordable for a small budget instead of a separate line item each time.

Two languages, two habits

Your audience reads Russian, Uzbek or both, and the split differs by district, product and age. We do not translate one text into the other; we write both and let the numbers decide the balance.

Telegram and Instagram behave differently too. Telegram suits repeat contact, price lists and quick answers; Instagram carries discovery and visual proof. Small businesses usually need both, in that order of effort.

Pricing in soum versus dollars matters in the copy as well. Stating a real, current price in soum removes a question that otherwise costs you a message exchange, and message exchanges are exactly where small teams lose enquiries.

Prices and what changes them

Targeted advertising, SMM, video production and SEO each start from $500. Design, branding and websites are quoted per project, because a one-page site and a store with integrations are not the same work.

Those figures are the agency fee. Ad spend paid to the platform is separate and stays under your control — we recommend a level, you approve it, and you see exactly where it went.

The fee moves with the volume of production: how many creatives and videos per month, how many languages, how many landing pages. We agree the scope before the month starts, not after.

How we work with small teams

We have run this pattern for companies of very different sizes. LoadMe, an app for carriers, reached 7,946 app users. Med Service Centre collected 407 lead-form submissions in B2B medical equipment, and Leader Audit collected 97 in audit services. Yoldosh came to us from logistics.

We will not promise you a position in search or a fixed cost per lead before a test has run. What we commit to is a clear plan, honest weekly reporting, and stopping anything that does not earn its budget.

Частые вопросы

What is the minimum budget to start?+

Our fee for targeted advertising, SMM, video or SEO starts from $500 per month, and platform ad spend is separate. For a small business we usually recommend starting with one channel and a modest test spend, then increasing it only after the first month of data shows what converts.

Should a small business start with ads or with SEO?+

Usually with ads. Targeted advertising on Instagram and Facebook gives feedback within days, so a small budget learns quickly which offer works. SEO is worth adding once you know what sells, because it compounds slowly and needs several months before it contributes meaningfully.

Do I need a website, or is Instagram enough?+

Many small businesses in Tashkent start fine with a well-kept Instagram profile plus Telegram for replies. A site becomes necessary when you need search traffic, a catalogue, online payment or reliable analytics. We quote sites per project, so it can wait until it earns its cost.

Who pays for the advertising budget?+

You do, directly and visibly. Our monthly fee covers strategy, creative production, setup and management; the money that goes to Meta is separate. We propose an amount, you approve it, and every report shows what was spent and what came back.

Can you work in both Russian and Uzbek?+

Yes. We write ads, posts and landing copy in Russian and Uzbek rather than machine-translating one into the other, and we test which language performs better for your audience and district before committing most of the budget to it.
